Russia rejected reports of Putin's request from Tehran to accept zero enrichment
The Russian Foreign Ministry said reports that President Vladimir Putin's request from the Iranian government to accept an agreement with zero enrichment is incorrect.

In a statement on Sunday, July 9, the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to a recent report by the Oxyus News Agency, saying the report is a "dirty and political campaign" that "has been launched to exacerbate tensions about Iran's nuclear program."
"The Western media continue to show its true nature, act as a tool in the hands of political elites, resort to targeted information and direct stimulation, and produce fake news," the ministry added.
Putin reported to the Islamic Republic and the US officials that she agreed with the "zero enrichment" plan to resolve the Iranian nuclear case.
The media quoted three European officials and an Israeli official as saying that Moscow has encouraged Iranian government officials to agree to completely enrich uranium.
Two informed sources said Moscow has also put Israel in the Putin stance on the prohibition of uranium enrichment on Iranian soil, and even in recent contacts with Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron, the US and French presidents.
Prior to Israeli attacks on Iranian soil, five rounds of nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington were held, but the Islamic Republic's officials emphasized the continued enrichment on Iranian soil.
