European tariff talks with Trump failed!
The US president has announced that negotiations with European countries over tariffs have not been concluded.

US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that it will impose a 50 % tariff on imported goods from the economic bloc due to lack of progress in trade negotiations with the European Union.
"The European Union is very strict and our talks with them have not reached anywhere," Trump wrote on the Social Social Network.
He described the US trade deficit with the European Union as "completely unacceptable" and added: "For this reason, I propose a 50 % tariff on the European Union. "There will be no tariff for products produced or manufactured in the US."
The decision was announced when the two sides were negotiating to reach a new agreement. Previously, Trump had suspended his mutual tariffs, and the EU had stopped retaliatory measures. However, in the conversations, the US president has once again turned to heavy tariffs.
The announcement came just minutes after Trump's threat to Apple's 25 % tariff if the company refused to transfer iPhone production to the United States.
Experts say these measures reflect the Trump administration's offensive approach to using tariffs to pressure business partners and international companies.
Following the publication of these posts, the future indicators of the US stock market immediately declined. Newsweek has contacted the European Commission for the EU's opinion, but has not yet received a response.
This decision could exacerbate trade tensions between the United States and the European Union and have widespread impact on world markets and supply chains.
