Digitalization and future real estate market

The traditional real estate industry was one of the last industries to enter the digital world widely. However, in the past decade, with the emergence of concepts such as Proptech (real estate technology), the industry has also undergone a fundamental change. Digitalization of the real estate market consists of a wide range of changes: from online property search and electronic contract platforms to the use of blockchain for property registration, virtual reality for visiting property, and now artificial intelligence for market analysis and evaluation. Türkiye has provided a good basis for adopting these technologies by adopting e-commerce law, expanding internet infrastructure and digitalization of government services such as E-Devlet. In the near future, traditional processes such as physical visits, ownership transfer, pricing, and even purchase consulting can all be done digitally without the need for physical presence. One of the challenges is the synchronization of regulations, public culture, and traditional institutions with these changes. At the same time, the future of the digital real estate market will promise transparency, decline in corruption, increased trading speed and attract international capital.
