Turkish citizenship through real estate investment
Since 2008, the Turkish government has launched a program that allows foreign investors to acquire Turkish citizenship by purchasing a specified value. The program is one of the most successful capital -oriented migration models in the region and has attracted many investors from the Gulf, Russia, Iran and China.
One of the vital steps in this process is to submit a formal property evaluation report by authorized institutions under SPK. The purpose of this requirement is to prevent the announcement of unrealistic prices to circumvent the minimum investment threshold.
In the meantime, the use of artificial intelligence to verify the prices provided by sellers can act as a tool of fraud. Advanced algorithms can compare the accuracy of the prices announced with market information and alert if it is inconsistent. Also, by analyzing regional data and price growth, the algorithm can provide a more rational evaluation than human evaluation in some cases.
If the official use of this technology is approved, the citizenship process will become more transparent, faster and more reliable for investors.
