The awards ceremony of the Seventy -eighth Cannes Film Festival was held with the introduction of the winner of the Golden Palm Best Film and Other Selected.
The jury of the Cannes Film Festival, led by Juliet Binush, finally described Jafar Panahi's "A Simple Accident" as deserving of the best gold palm.
This is the second golden palm of Iranian cinema after Abbas Kiarostami's film "Taste of Cherry".
