Bomb blast in California/ One person killed
The FBI said the bomb blast near a fertility center in Palm Springs, California, was a "deliberate and terrorist act".

The blast, which occurred Saturday morning in a residential neighborhood, killed one person and injured four others, breaking the glass of several surrounding buildings.
Aqil Davis, head of the FBI office in Los Angeles, said the center was targeted, but refused to detail the possible motivation. The identity of the killed person has not yet been confirmed, and officials say Mazanouni is not in custody in connection with the incident and investigations are still ongoing.
According to the clinic manager, the laboratory and the stored embryos have not been damaged and no disease was present at the time of the explosion. Aerial images of the site show a burnt car in the parking lot of the building, and officials are likely to explode through a car bomb.
Officials say the bomb blast at the Palm Springs Clinic left one dead and four injured, officials in the New York Times reported.
The FBI announced that Saturday morning's explosion that occurred inside or near a vehicle less than a mile from the city center of Palm Springs, California, was "a deliberate terrorist act".
After a bomb blast on Saturday morning outside a fertility clinic, one person was killed in the Palm Springs desert area, California and injured at least four people. The blast, which officials called the terrorist attack, have damaged the buildings and broken the glass of several blocks.
"The blast was remarkable," said Akil Davis, deputy director of the FBI field office in Los Angeles. Make no mistake, this is a deliberate terrorist act. " He added that officials believe that the clinic is specifically targeted.
Davis said the department has begun one of the largest bombing investigations in southern California so far and it is not yet clear whether the incident was an internal or international terrorist act. Authorities have identified a suspect, but they didn't name him on Saturday afternoon. They also did not say whether the deceased was associated with the explosion. "We are not actively searching for the suspect," said Mr Davis.
According to the mayor, Ron Dahart has occurred inside or near the vehicle parked next to the clinic. But many other details, including the type and model of the vehicle, are unclear. Officials said the only thing left at the scene is one axis.
Reports of loud explosions and images of broken glass and thick smoke were released on social media about 9am local time. The explosion area expanded to the blocks, and some buildings were severely damaged, so that the chopped glass was visible in many restaurants, shops and apartments across the city.
The clinic's phone number, the US reproductive centers seemed to be available on Saturday.
The website for this office has cited fertility treatments, such as laboratory fertilization and egg freezing, including its services and describes its work in helping LGBTQ couples having children. The clinic reported in a Facebook post that none of its employees were damaged in the explosion and the eggs, embryos and other materials in the laboratory are "completely safe and without damage."
The clinic wrote on its Facebook page: "We are strongly conducting a thorough safety inspection and confirming that our operations and sensitive medical areas have not been affected by the explosion." He added that Monday is expected to be open for normal activities.
